Hey Guys!!!
I have been having a great week. We have been doing so well and the members have started to come up to us during church and telling us that we need to come over. Bless. One of the Families in our ward I had seen before, but never talked to them, but they are a multi-cultural family!!! I introduced myself and told them about it and we had a nice conversation about it. They want to invite us over some time now. He’s from Hong Kong and she’s from the states. They have a baby boy and some little girls. I tell you, that made me a little homesick. That probably had to be the greatest thing ever.
I dragged some members yesterday with me and got them to see what Vahid (the coolest guy ever) had in his toe (infection I talked about a while ago). Suddenly they all jumped up and drove him to the hospital where one of the coolest members ever will get him the medical care he needs, plus more. That was a blessing and we might follow up on that today.
We have been finding that Asian food is the way to go. We can get a bunch of ramen for pretty cheap here (like 70 pence) and our budgeting is getting way better. I am teaching my comp how to cook Asian food.
We have got a lot of work ahead of us. Our mission president has made some ambitious goals for this upcoming year and so now we have a lot of work to do.
The work is good, we have had a lot of people with a date not make it and since the university has started up again, it has been a blessing and a curse. They either want to meet up and talk, or they use studying as an excuse (especially the Chinese) so we are busy with that. Our recent converts are struggling since school provides for some challenges attending church, reading and praying. The usual stuff, nothing we can’t handle. I will report more on our investigators as we keep going through January.
This year is going to be a great year and wholly dedicated to the Lord!
