Hey guys!!!

Sooooooo, we are going to play some wee basketball later today with a recent convert who rented out a place for a little while and it actually is a great opportunity for finding because we have 10 Chinese guys coming to play with us. Teach repentance and Baptize Converts through basketball hehehehehe. We have yet to see if they can beat the American squad.

It’s funny because every Chinese guy you find here has a sick pair of basketball shoes. We get potentials just off of the fact that you can connect with them over basketball.

When you have to find for forever, you get pretty creative. I am not saying we forget our missionary purpose when we find, but sometimes you really just need a good laugh from time to time to take the edge off. For example:

-Asking a totally random question i.e. “What’s your favorite colour?”

-Offering food for people.

-Not actually talking to them, but waving to them hoping they come and talk to you.

-Pretending to take a survey.

-Doing a lame magic trick

-and much much more.

Finding has to be fun at one point or another…

We had some interesting things happen. Last P day we were finding in the City Center and let’s just say that there were some people throwing some politics around to the point that we had to just leave the city center. A lot of people here are very left sided.

We had a bunch of people drop us due to school pressure and I really am trying my hardest not to be no chill on them, but I have to understand that a lot of them really get stressed very easily due to the fact that they are over here for the sole purpose of school.

The weather here in Scotland is getting better. Warmer (comparatively) and a little bit dryer. The sun is shining pretty early here which is great considering that at 6:30 the sun broke the horizon. It will be great until it is shining from 3:30 in the morning till about 11:30 at night. Too much light.

I really think that this week will be good.
