Alma 7:9

Heya! This week has been absolutely great!

We have really strengthened our testimony in the power of fasting. We had been fasting earlier this week for the opportunity for one of our friends to set with a baptismal goal and walking into the lesson we had a great spirit and we had a lot of hopes. During the lesson we were really trying to get her to know that we really wanted what’s best and just as we were about to invite her, a guy came into our lesson and told us that we needed to leave the building. Total Jerk. I thought it was a trainwreck, but as we were walking out of the building, I could not help but see that she had really felt something and after we got her to set a goal for the 17th of May.  She came to church this past Sunday.  A recent convert and the sister missionaries pulled her aside after the full three- hours of meetings to try on baptismal clothing. I could not help but start thanking the Savior for what I have been given!

Another thing is that we have a part-member/less-active family in the middle of nowhere that has two members of the family that want to get baptized. So obviously we trek out there by 1 hour bus ride to teach them the most powerful “Families Can Be Together Forever” lesson I have ever been in and they decided baptism is a good thing. No goal set, but it is now a matter of “when”, not “if”.

Now the best part is that we bussed all the way out to a small place called Blairgowrie and it is beautiful, so after missing the bus (cannot stop the Spirit), we decided to take a little hike before the next one. Worth it. Scotland is beautiful.
