This week was full.
We had a baptism!!! Her name is Karen! Karen had been investigating the church for some time. She had been taught by many different missionaries and it wasn’t really a question for her if she needed to be baptised, just a matter of if she was going to Malta to be baptised or not. She is a great member, but it was a little questionable what could happen between her leaving Dundee and finally getting into contact with the missionaries there. We fasted and prayed for her and in one meeting we got her to the point where she asked us what she needs to do to be baptised here. We helped her along and it was a lot of praying and to be honest, I don’t see myself too involved in the process but, fortunately I got to see the wonderful results. She was beaming with joy after and she thanked us personally for pushing for her to be baptised here in Dundee and she dubbed us her “Guardian Angels”.
Elder Bang
(On Saturday night we had the wonderful privilege to hear a full UB40 concert! Sooooo, maybe not be there, but we live across the street from a large field that they use for events and there was a concert for UB40. Fortunately for one of the elders in our flat, its his favourite band. On the other hand, I tried to go to bed, for 2 hours. Didn’t work very well. We have Little Mix visiting the same place end of june and Olly murs visiting the same place july 23rd. Fun.)
