So this weekend there has been a festival. It’s called a Jazz festival and it happens yearly in Cork and attracts a lot of people. A lot of drinking, and a lot of loud music very late into the night. Because we live very close to 3 pubs in the area, we kinda had to pull the covers over our heads and just try to get a good night’s sleep. I personally thought it was pretty cool though to hear all the wonderful music and we even ran into a few performers in the street from places like Louisiana, New York, Boston, and other areas in the US. We had to go in a little bit early some nights because of the parties, alcohol, and just ineffective proselyting during a festival.

Anyways, Halloween will be great, so because of how crazy it gets for Halloween, we are told to be inside from 5 p.m. to the end of the night, so we will just have a fun missionary party at the church instead. Last year I was told that I had a great costume, really authentic. I kinda laughed at the idea of going trick-or-treating as two Mormon missionaries… Probably not a good idea.
