Hello!

As the first full week of proselyting comes to a close, we now have time to reflect on the week, which felt like an entire year honestly.

We have been scrambling to get to know everyone and so we have a lot of work to do this upcoming week in regards to visits requested by less actives, members dinner appointments (a lot of them), and potential investigators who want to sit down and learn!  I feel bad for teaching on our first full P-day for Elder Chuah, but there is this guy named Kevin who we found by going to a Chinese place down the road! We had a dinner appointment cancel, but a member offered to take us out to Chinese takeaway (there are places everywhere). Across the counter is a guy who sees my badge and asks if I speak Mandarin, of course. He’s actually Malaysian, but knows Malay and Chinese!!! Wa sai!!! We will just be sitting down and getting to know him today at supper time, but we are praying that we will be able to share a lot with him. He’s given us free food and everything too! What a blessing.

We had a lot of miracles this week and one of them seemed to be the fact that even with all the pressure, I was able to just take a break during the Sacrament on Sunday, and even if it was only for that small time (I had to give a talk…)

I felt like we were headed in the right direction.

Love you guys!

Elder Bang
